2. Run a marathon. I volunteered at a fluid station in 2015 NYC Marathon. It was actually my very first time watching a marathon. I was so impressed and decided to put running a marathon on my bucket list.
3. An MBA degree to sharpen my management skills and enlarge my network through the means provided by the business school.
4. Travel across Vietnam, my beautiful homeland, ideally mingling with local people. I hope to develop a stronger sense of my Vietnamese identity through cultural immersion.
5. Visit the Great Pyramid of Giza, Egypt. I was deeply inspired by the manga "Daughter of Nile" (Ouke no Monshou).
6. Dive in the oceans of Nha Trang and Phu Quoc, but I need to learn how to dive first. I've heard it's not so hard.
7. Fluent in 3 languages. I'm already fluent in Vietnamese (well, my mother tongue) and English. My dearest friends in Vietnam taught me a tiny bit of Chinese in summer 2014. (In fact, Chinese is 30% similar to Vietnamese since Vietnam was colonized the Chinese for roughly 900 years.) I enjoyed speaking Chinese so much that I downloaded an app to practice basic Chinese lines every night during the few free weeks before I moved to the US. My 2015 Christmas break just started. Now it should be a good time to resume my Chinese learning.
8. Study abroad in Europe. I'd love to spend an exchange semester during my fourth year at college. I've thought of Spain. Architecture, music, food, people... Spain is such a wonderful and rich culture. But I want real immersion to learn Spanish, so I probably should live in a less "touristy" city.
9. Go to China and speak Chinese as much as possible.
10. Establish a charity organization in my hometown with the philosophy of "Locals help locals." Keep in mind that I'm a big believer of education and children. My volunteering team should consist of high school and college students. We will do something for the children at my Catholic church and in the adjacent neighborhoods. Together we will do small good deeds that have a long-term impact.
